Global Brand Strategist for Gorillas; Campaigns, Brand strategy, Content Strategy

During my internship period at my Digital Media Creative program at Hyper Island, I decided to move to Berlin to work for a startup called Gorillas app that has been awarded as one of the top unicorn startups in Europe, This to develop my strategic skills and challenge myself in a fast phase environment. Gorillas is a food delivery service known to be disruptive, modern and unique. My role was to together with the strategy and creative team manage and plan Gorillas brand on a global level, communicating with their offices in the US, UK, Italy, France and more.

Way of working

The main way that we worked in the Global Brand Strategy Team at Gorillas together with the rest of the teams at Gorillas was that we created a Brand Strategy brief for specific campaigns in presentation style. We first got the budget then the collaboration/specific holiday, or the new product to create a campaign for. Then we continues by discovering and presenting relevant cultural insights, opportunities, watch-outs, personas and inspiration for the campaign, This to onboard the creative team or agency and make them as informed as possible in order to create a campaign as researched and aligned with Gorillas as possible.
