ABOUT ME
Born and raised in Stockholm, with parents who immigrated from Poland and Uganda, I grew up with academics as the only career solution and creativity being seen as a hobby. I do understand my parents’ conditions, resulting in that insight - but my stubborn ambition to take the creative path persisted.
I have always been passionately drawn to expressing and understanding myself through various mediums, including motion, visual art, and concepts.
My curiosity and desire to understand and impact the world around me led me to pursue studies in psychology, entrepreneurship, digital media, and technology. I wanted to comprehend as much of the spectrum as I could, I also wanted to show that a black second-generation immigrant could do that - and here I am.
My purpose is highly aligned and committed to fostering inclusion and diversity within the creative industry, and as a woman of color, I hope to contribute to a more representative and inclusive future - seen in the impact initiatives I’m actively supporting and driving forward.
